CROWN AND BRIDGE
A crown is a special dental restoration that entirely covers a tooth. Besides strengthening a damaged tooth, a crown can be used to improve its appearance. Crowns can be made from different types of materials such as all poreclain, gold or non precious alloy crowns or porcelain to metal crowns. Preparing a tooth for a crown usually takes 2 visits. During the first visit, the tooth is shaped or prepared for the new crown. Impressions are taken and sent to the laboratory, where the new crown is made. A temporary crown, often made of acrylic resin, covers the prepared tooth while the permanent crown is made. When the permanent crown is ready, the temporary crown is removed and the permanent crown is placed.

TEETH WHITENING
The Zoom! system works via the application of a whitening gel to your teeth, which is then activated by a light source directed on the teeth for 20 minutes. The entire process requires only three applications, so you are in and out of the dentist’s office in an hour. This is a significant advantage over at-home whitening systems that must be used diligently for weeks to achieve results. Additionally, because your dentist oversees the process, you only have to sit back, relax, and let the Zoom! system do its work.

DENTURES
Dentures are used to replace missing teeth or damaged teeth that cannot be otherwise repaired. General dentists, family dentists, prosthodontists, and cosmetic dentists may perform the procedure.

DENTAL FILLINGS
Dental fillings are used to repair damage to the structure of a tooth or teeth. Structural damage can be caused as a result of tooth decay, wear or trauma. After the removal of a problematic tooth structure, the tooth is restored with one of several filling materials: gold, amalgam, composite resin (white filling material) or porcelain. Each filling material has its advantages and disadvantages. Your dentist will work with you to determine which material is appropriate for you.
